Thanks for visiting my website. I’m Tamasin and I’m passionate about HR and generally doing more to help businesses make the best of their people. That comes in lots of ways, shapes and forms, and I won’t confess to being a master of everything.
I’m a Chartered Member of the CIPD with a Masters Degree in HR Management, and over 15 years in HR Management roles across the private and third sectors. In 2014 I took the step out on my own into consultancy and love the variety and creativity that comes with that. I’m driven to help organisations reach where they want to be, and look to innovative and new ways of thinking to influence directions. That’s not to say that there isn’t a place for solid and robust HR practices – I can most definitely do that too!
From the basics of writing policies, designing performance management and recruitment frameworks to configuring HR systems and designing and delivering training, I can help. If I’m not able to, I can probably point you in the direction of someone who can. My particular focus is on SMEs and working with leaders to develop their business further – this could include helping you to think about what you need to do to improve performance and therefore the sucess of your organisation, coaching you and supporting you to drive forward change (if needed) or develop your culture and behaviours to really help you to achieve. My specialism is designing and implementing robust but simple HR functions which are efficient, don’t rely on paper, and are lean (as much as possible anyway). I’m also a facilitator, and enjoy helping employees and leaders to improve their skills and knowledge in areas of communication, performance management and recruitment.
I’m qualified in Saville and Holdsworth and Thomas International psychometric tools, as well as being a qualified Assessor with the PTTLS qualification. As a Facilitator with Developing People Globally (DPG), I also support other HR Professionals in becoming Level 5 CIPD qualified.
